Runner Comments

1. Happy Go PluckyUnplaced in all four runs this prep but will appreciate the cut in the ground. Takes a 3kg claim but still not in this.
2. Slow HandsNarrowly beaten as a favourite last start at Eagle Farm and has three placings from five runs this prep. Drawn perfectly. Should fight out the finish.
3. Flying MachineOn a seven day back-up and has gone well on a softer track. Won once this prep at Eagle Farm two runs back. Should go well.
4. Glen OrdFaded to finish five lengths off the winner last start at Eagle Farm and is carrying a lot more weight. Has placed in four runs from seven this campaign. One for wider exotics.
5. PolemicRaced back, widest turn, couldn't find speed late 13.7L at Doomben Bm78 over 2000m Heavy 9. Came from midfield to fight the race out but was outgunned late 0.6L at Coffs Harbour Ken Howard Bm88 over 2000m Soft 5.
6. GetyourgreyonBumped at start, huge run considering 0.8L at Doomben 0 - 75 over 1350m. Wide no cover took over 800m held on for gutsy win 0.4L at Doomben Bm72 over 1600m.
7. Proud RocGallant effort to hold on for a win after sitting with the leaders in-running 0.8L at Toowoomba Bm70 over 1625m. Sat up with the leaders and wasn't disgraced when fourth 4.6L at Toowoomba Cl4 over 1625m.
8. Reiby the RedSlow into stride made good ground late in straight 2.4L at Doomben Bm78 over 1600m. Wide no cover throughout, huge effort considering 2.4L at Doomben Bm72 over 1600m.
9. SkytrekDisappointing last start at Doomben and could struggle from widest barrier draw. Has struggled in both runs so far this campaign. Hard to get enthused.
10. Bajan GoldWon last start to break maiden at Gold Coast. Likely to settle back in the field. Hard to beat.
11. Toan ThangRan fifth last start at Doomben and without a win in four runs at Gold Coast. Drawn out wide. Not keen.
12. ImpavidoNever in the race last start at Doomben when first up and faces a rise in distance. Drops in weight but prefer others.
13. MaybachJust missed when heavily backed last start at Sunshine Coast and has gone well on a softer track. Has won at Sunshine Coast once and placed in all other attempts this campaign. Not out of it.
14. ProspectusWinner at Doomben and placed twice this prep. Goes well on a softer track. Up in distance. Among the main chances.
