Runner Comments

1. Outback Barbie	Wide no cover, pushed forward, run full of merit 3L George Moore G3. Behind leader, worked hard, solid run home 1.5L Lough Neagh Listed. The clear best horse in the race but from barrier 20 is going to need plenty of luck.
2. The Odyssey	Faded from front position to finish just off the winner last start at Eagle Farm and has very strong form at Gold Coast. Has plenty of weight but still has solid claims.
3. Chapter And Verse	Unsighted last start at Eagle Farm and gets the blinkers back on. Carrying less weight. Not the worst.
4. Macewen	Bolted in last start at Eagle Farm and has gone well on a softer track. Ryan Maloney has a strike rate of 29% for this trainer. Must respect.
5. Jami Lady	Finished six lengths off the winner last start at Eagle Farm and proven perfromer on a soft track. Ben E Thompson has a strike rate of 31% for this trainer. Hard to go past.
6. Boomtown Lass	Winner at Doomben and placed in all other outings this prepearation. Placed last start at Eagle Farm. Likely to race on the speed. Perfectly placed.
7. River Racer	Struggled so far this preparation and finished 11th last start at Eagle Farm. Down in weight but cannot entertain.
8. Tokoriki Lad	Let-up for six weeks and a track specialist winning twice at Gold Coast. Down in weight. Rough claims.
9. Beaufort Park	Just missed when heavily backed last start at Eagle Farm when fresh and has won twice at Gold Coast before. Has won three of six on a softer track. Serious player.
10. Yamazaki	Finished strongly to end up midfield last start at Randwick when resuming and drops 4kg from last run. Draws to do no work. Rough claims.
11. In His Stride	Returns from six week let-up and is yet to salute in six runs this prep. Placed at trial in 42 days since last race but unlikely.
12. Mishani Miss	Scratched.
13. Stuttering	Was able to place at long odds last start at Eagle Farm and has the speed to overcome an unfavourable draw. Has placed in two runs from four this campaign. Place hope.
14. Colpo Di Tamburo	Won last start at Warwick but no wins in six past runs at Gold Coast. Drawn out wide. Appears safely held.
15. Mishani Bullitt	Short back-up of seven days. Came on to finish midfield last start at Gold Coast and has two placings from eight runs this prep. Knockout hope.
16. The Fire Trap	Resumes from a 17 week spell and winner of two when first-up including a win at Warwick Farm last go. Big drop in weight. Outside hope.
17. Xanthus	First-up after 13 week break and has shown potential in trials. Will come to hand quickly. One for wider exotics.
18. Boomnova	Looking to make it four in a row after another win at Gold Coast last start and has the speed to overcome a very wide draw. One for wider exotics.
19. Stylish Saga	Behind midfield, boxed on late, finished well 2.3L at Sunshine Coast Cl3-Sw over 1200m. No match for rivals and never progressed into the race from midfield 2.6L at Doomben Cl4-Sw over 1350m Soft 5.
20. Mishani Blossom	Restrained back, got going when the race was over 2.9L at Doomben F&M Bm75 over 1200m Soft 5. One-paced to the line and always well back 5.1L at Aquis Park Gold Coast 3&4Yf&M Cl4-Sw over 1300m Soft 5.
21. Mishani Fraudster	Made up some ground when the race was over into fifth 1.7L at Sunshine Coast Bm75 over 1000m Soft 5. One-paced to the line and always well back 6.4L at Aquis Park Gold Coast 3Y Hcp over 1200m Soft 6.
