1. Birchip Turf	Has had 11 runs without breaking maiden and did nothing to threaten last start at Stawell. Up in journey. Appears safely held.
2. Dynamic Blue	Yet to place in six attempts and finished five lengths off the winner last start at Stawell. Up in journey. Unlikely.
3. Great Iam	Faded to finish fifth at only start at Kerang but draws to do no work. Knockout hope.
4. Zazster	Placed last start at Terang. Likely to settle back in the field. Commands serious thought.
5. Bondi Beau	Faded to finish 11th last start at Warrnambool but has two placings from four runs this prep. Should be right in the finish.
6. Mio Capo	Stalked the speed, under the whip to make ground struggling into fifth 4.9L at Mornington 3Y Mdn-Sw over 1200m. Given every chance after sitting behind speed and held spot for fourth 4.3L at Mornington Mdn-Sw over 1200m.
7. Miss Marcie	Ran four lengths back from the winner last start at Kyneton and is up in journey. Generally gets back. Looking elsewhere.
8. Mookatomique	Hasn't placed in 10 runs and ran ninth last start at Warrnambool when first up. Likely to settle back in the field. Not keen.
9. No Puzzle	Finished three lengths back last start at Sandown but comes back to race at a country level. Placed once this prep at Kyneton. Winning chance.
10. Honour De Hero	Only just missed at only start, finishing a length back from the winner at Nhill. Forward showing no surprise.
11. Mon Gypsy	Placed last start at Yarra Valley when first up and drops 1kg from last run. At least a place chance here.
