1. Rudimental	Faded to finish 29 lengths off the winner last start at Swan Hill on a soft track but 3kg claim should help. Likely to race on the speed. Hard to get enthused.
2. Bakela	Has got off to a poor start this campaign but should improve with fitness and gets the blinkers on for the first time. Prefer to watch go around.
3. Heljami	Finished worse than midfield last start at Pakenham Synthetic but a track specialist winning three times at Ballarat Synthetic. Won't be far away in the run. Tough to beat.
4. Border Leicester	Finished eighth last start at Sandown Hillside on a heavy track and blinkers come off. Has disappointed in all nine starts as a favourite. Rough claims.
5. Autissiodorum	Finished in the middle of the pack last start at Swan Hill and won once this prep at Wodonga four runs back. Should race on the speed. Place chance.
6. Mr Mischief	Won once this prep at Swan Hill five runs back and finished 11 lengths off the winner last start at Swan Hill on a soft track but genuine contender.
7. Murrumbidgee River	Let-up for seven weeks and trial placing in 49 days since last race adds confidence. Serious player.
8. Absconded	In the money last start running third at Ballarat Synthetic but no wins in three past runs at the track. Drawn perfectly but still looks tested.

10. Flying Feedy	Finished ninth last start at Sandown Lakeside but comes back to race at a country level. Should run fitter for two previous outings. Sneaky chance.
11. Grand Quill	Ran as favourite last start and placed at Ballarat Synthetic. Gets the blinkers back on. Has placed in two runs from seven this campaign but still this looks too strong.
