4. Penshurst	Won last start at Murwillumbah when resuming. Expected to settle just off the speed and rates highly with Luke Dittman retaining the ride. Genuine contender.
5. At Witz End	Narrowly beaten as a favourite last start at Lismore and placed at trial since last race 24 days ago. Concern is the wide barrier. Not in this.
6. Fabricator	Returns from six week let-up. Led throughout for a dominant win last start at Armidale and won two of seven with the sting out of the ground. Place hope.

14. Red Impulse	Finished four lengths off the winner last start at Ballina and won once this prep at Wodonga seven runs back. Should get a nice run behind a genuine early tempo. Not here.
