2. Let Him Rip	Resumes after a 20 week spell and carrying more weight. Concern is the wide barrier. Not the worst.
3. Notmyfirstrodeo	Faded to finish four lengths off the winner last start at Pakenham Park when resuming. Unlikely.
4. Prince Of Mercia	Narrowly beaten when heavily backed last start at Sale when resuming and gets the blinkers on for the first time. Rates as one of the key chances.
5. Prince Ruban	Resumes after a spell of 40 weeks. First race for T Dabernig and B Hayes. Drawn out wide. Chance.
6. Thomas Hawk	Faded to finish four lengths off the winner at only start at Ballarat on a soft track but drops 1kg from last run. Chance.
7. Ultimate Man	In the money last start running third at Bendigo and has placed twice at the track before. Should run fitter for two previous outings. Commands serious thought.
8. Vitruvius	First-up after 20 week spell. Came on strong when just beaten at only start at Kyneton on a soft track. Expected to be a contender.
9. Ashmosa	Ran seven lengths back from the winner at only start at Kyneton and drops in weight but still looking to others.
10. Charging Ahead	First starter and has not trialled. Watch early betting.
11. French Boss	Unplaced in all four runs this prep and never in the race last start at Geelong. Unplaced in four attempts on a good track. Appears safely held.
12. Mon Dieu	Finished seventh at only start at Kilmore but drops 1kg from last run, look to others.
13. Press Button	Back from 13 week spell and first run for a new trainer. Might need the run. Appears tested.
