1. Black Sail	Winner at Geelong and placed three times this prep. In the money last start running second at Warrnambool. Rates highly with Harry Coffey aboard. The one to beat.
2. Last Kingdom	Faded to finish seven lengths off the winner last start at Caulfield when resuming but comes back to race at a country level. Ran sixth at Happy Valley when last second-up. Cannot entertain.
3. Declares War	Faded to finish ninth last start at Caulfield when fresh but will come to hand quickly and ran third when last second-up at Mornington. Comes back to race at a country level. Should go well.

6. Reserve Street	Has got off to a poor start this campaign but should improve with fitness and gets the blinkers back on. Racing back from metro track. One for the multiples.
7. Fabian's Spirit	On a six day back-up and up in distance. Won once this prep at Warrnambool seven runs back. Looking to others.
8. Bassons	Finished midfield last start at Murray Bridge and drops in weight. two from six wins have been in the dry. Not out of it.
