1. Mister McIlroy	Finished at the rear last start at Taree when fresh and up in journey. Ran fifth at Newcastle when last second-up. Not keen.
2. Old Timing Man	Faded to finish five lengths off the winner last start at Taree on a heavy track and without a win in three runs at Coffs Harbour. Should race on the speed. Seems unlikely.
3. Star of Harada	Has placed in two runs from five this campaign and blinkers come off. Large claim helps. Genuine contender.
4. Invictus Felix	Finished six lengths back last start at Grafton on a soft track. Likely to get a nice run behind the speed. Right in this.
5. Nistelrooy	Finished eight lengths back last start at Coffs Harbour but goes well on a softer track. 4kg claim should help but unlikely.
6. Freya's Cloak	Amongst the placegetters last start running second at Coffs Harbour. Likely to race on the speed and should run fitter for past attempts. Should fight out the finish.
7. Crowned Empress	Finished worse than midfield last start at Taree on a heavy track when fresh but a track specialist winning twice at Coffs Harbour. Should race on the speed. Place hope.
8. Thisland Is Myland	Just missed when heavily backed last start at Sunshine Coast on a soft track when fresh. Major contender.
9. Ambridge	Finished worse than midfield last start at Grafton when fresh and has not won at Coffs Harbour previously. Generally strong second-up winning at Lismore last second-up attempt but prefer to watch go around.
10. Fermanagh Lad	Has placed in two runs from three this campaign and takes a 3kg claim. Has placed twice at Coffs Harbour before. Not the worst.
11. Full Press	First-up after 14 week break and placed at last trial at this track. Generally strong first-up. Not the worst.
