1. Mr Boomjangles	Back from let-up and can't knock the form winning two in a row at Darwin. Goes well at the track. Not the worst.
2. Ransom Money	Ran seventh last start at Darwin and no wins in four past runs at the track. Drawn ideally. Forward showing no surprise.
3. Tycoon Dancer	Resumes after spell of 38 weeks. Placed at Darwin when last fresh and won two of seven first-up. Placed five times at the track but been unable to get a win. Serious player.
4. Kaptan Apollo	Back from let-up. Narrowly beaten as a favourite last start at Darwin. Winner at the track and placed once this campaign. One for wider exotics.
5. Torchbearer	Placed in first start this prep and Ms Alice Lindsay has a strike rate of 31% for this trainer. 2kg claim should help. Place chance.
6. Weapon	Came on strong in the end to win last start at Darwin and all wins have come when faced with dry ground. Beautifully placed.
7. Autocratic	Disappointed when only placing as favourite last start at Darwin when fresh but has very strong form at the track. Jarrod Todd has a strike rate of 27% for this trainer. Consider.
8. El Sicario	Winner at Darwin and placed in all other outings this prepearation. Down in distance. Rates highly with Wayne Davis retaining the ride. Commands serious thought.
