Runner Comments

1. Westerly HazeLet-up and winner of three when first-up including a win at Launceston last go. Large claim helps. Should be thereabouts.
2. SilzoarRan one and a half lengths back from the winner last start at Devonport but has won five times at the track before. Likely to race on the speed. Capable of getting into the money.
3. SilkstoneLed, fought on strongly but was nailed on the line into second 0.2L at Devonport Tapeta Cl3 over 1150m Synthetic. Sat on the pace over the final 400m and gained upper hand to win 0.5L at Devonport Tapeta 0-64 Rating over 1150m Synthetic. Performs well at this track/distance.
4. Barbie's WitnessCan't knock the form winning two in a row at Devonport and has very strong form at the track. Cannot rule out.
5. IvorymanChased well to just miss last start at Devonport when first up. David Pires and Scott Brunton are a proven combination. Carrying less weight. Hard to go past.
6. Lebombo RoseFinished one and a half lengths off the winner last start at Devonport when resuming. Comes to hand quickly and won at Ballarat when last second-up. Goes up slightly in weight. Prefer others.
7. Red Letter LadyWinner of last two at Devonport and has multiple wins at the track. Probably wins
8. Winky DinkFinished two lengths off the winner last start at Devonport and has very strong form at the track. Won two of four as a favourite. Place hope.
9. Brockton PunchOn a seven day back-up and is yet to salute in five runs this prep. Large claim helps but look to others.
