1. Rising Hsiang	Ran seven lengths back from the winner last start at Devonport Synthetic but goes well at the track. Rates highly with Codi Jordan back on board but unlikely.
2. Freelancer	Back from 26 week spell and undefefeated in two lead-up trials. Down in distance. Genuine contender.
3. Turk Delight	First-up after 29 week spell and has the benefit of a Devonport Synthetic trial. Has won three times at the track before but still prefer others.
4. Freak On A Lead	Coming off a win at Hobart and David Pires a bonus. Should race on the speed. Commands respect.
5. Imagine Howe	Narrowly beaten as a favourite last start at Hobart and gets the blinkers on for the first time. Can't knock the form with two wins from nine attempts this campaign. Should be winning.

7. Hot Relation	Faded to finish on the winners' heels last start at Devonport Synthetic and won once this prep at Launceston six runs back. Expect to be right up there.
8. Lady Joker	Won once this prep at Launceston four runs back and only just missed in driving finish last start at Devonport Synthetic. Claim should help. Rough claims.
9. So I'm Dreaming	Unplaced in all four runs this prep and ran fifth last start at Devonport Synthetic. Cannot entertain.
10. Skilendra	Winner despite being unwanted in the betting last start at Devonport Synthetic and in strong form with two wins from 10 attempts this campaign. Large claim helps. Needs the breaks.
