1. Freddy'sajetstar	Ran nine lengths back from the winner last start at Hobart when first up and gets the blinkers on for the first time. Struggled so far this preparation. This looks too strong.
2. Lacerate	On a seven day back-up. Faded to finish 14th last start at Hobart when resuming but drawn ideally. Strong hope.
3. Lion Academy
4. Anjero	Returns from six week let-up. Finished worse than midfield at only start at Launceston but 3kg claim should help, unlikely.

7. Lionround	First-up after 34 week break and has shown potential in trials. Wide barrier is a concern. Appears tested.
8. Rock'em Baby	On debut and prepped well winning last trial at the same track. Market as guide.
9. Statue Of Dreams	Hasn't placed in 15 runs and unsighted last start at Devonport Synthetic. Prefer to watch go around.
10. Bold Instinct	Back from 14 week spell and first run for a new trainer. Won last trial at this track. One of the main hopes.
11. Geegees Tonic	First starter and placed in Hobart trial. Awkwardly drawn. Watch early betting.
