1. All Important	Faded to finish four lengths off the winner last start at Eagle Farm but Michael Rodd has a strike rate of 27% for this trainer. Drawn perfectly. Can surprise.
2. Royal Hale	Got the campaign off to a strong start winning when fresh and a track specialist winning twice at Doomben. Ryan Maloney a bonus. Hard to hold out.
3. Accession	Has got off to a poor start this campaign but should improve with fitness and faded to finish ninth last start at Rosehill. Awkwardly drawn but still commands respect.
4. Guntantes	Narrowly beaten at long odds last start at Doomben when fresh and has very strong form at the track. Carries an extra 4kg from last run. Hard to have.
5. Gem Of Scotland	Placed in first start this prep and a track specialist winning twice at Doomben. Trial placing since last race 28 days ago adds confidence. One of the main hopes.
6. Kedah	Finished strongly to end up midfield last start at Eagle Farm on a soft track when first up and generally strong second-up. Drops in weight. Place chance.
7. Arthur In Charge	Won once this prep at Doomben five runs back and finished strongly to end up midfield last start at the track on a soft track. Drawn out wide. This looks too strong.
8. Xanthus	Back from let-up and goes well at Doomben. Won once this prep at the track two runs back. Looking to others.
9. Baroda	Faded from front position to finish just off the winner last start at Eagle Farm and goes well at Doomben. Won once this prep at Gold Coast five runs back. One for wider exotics.

14. Cellarmaid	Resuming from a long 41 week spell and has multiple wins at Doomben. Down in distance. Cannot entertain.
15. Ginger Rock	Narrowly beaten as a favourite last start at Toowoomba and has won twice at Doomben before. Carries a lot less weight. Not the worst.
