Runner Comments

1. Pioneer River	Won once this prep at Cranbourne four runs back and gets the blinkers back on. Rates highly with Mark Zahra retaining the ride. Place hope.
2. Parlophone	Back from 18 week spell. Comes to hand quickly and won at Sandown when last first-up. Expected to settle off the speed. Hard to beat.
3. Nantucket	Unwanted by the market but right up there last start at Caulfield. Winner at Bendigo and placed once this campaign. Should race on the speed. A winning chance.
4. Hydro Star	First-up after 22 week spell and won at Sandown in first outing. Draws to do no work. Outside hope.
5. Japery	Ran two lengths back from the winner last start at Werribee and won once this prep at Wangaratta three runs back. Down in weight but prefer to watch go around.
6. Aquagirl	First-up after 22 week break and generally strong first-up. Loves a good track. Right in this.
7. Tiny	Ran as favourite last start and placed at Randwick on a heavy track but a winner at first outing this prep. Consider.
8. Lariat	In great form this prep winning twice and placing in all other attempts. Amongst the placegetters last start running third at Caulfield. Drops in weight. Needs the breaks.
