1. The Fugitive	Ran sixth last start at Burrumbeet when resuming and has disappointed in all three starts as a favourite. Ran fifth at Taupo when last second-up. Forward showing no surprise.
2. Star Selection	Coming off a win at Mornington but has struggled in these conditions previously. Should run fitter for two previous outings. Not keen.
3. Awesome Storm	First-up after 13 week break and goes well on a softer track. Drawn ideally. Place chance.
4. Snappy Magnus	Last start winner to break maiden at Kyneton but carries an extra 4kg from last run. Should run fitter for two previous outings. Knockout hope.
5. Fi Style	Made ground late to win last start at Horsham and rates highly with Dean Holland retaining the ride. Likely to race off the speed. Can�t dismiss.
6. Gimme The Goss	Resumes after a 22 week spell and comes to hand quickly. Has run well in these conditions. A good chance.
