Runner Comments

1. Shoot for Coomaah	Won once this prep at Bairnsdale four runs back and finished seventh last start at Sale on a heavy track. 2kg claim should help. Commands serious thought.
2. Victime de L'amour	Got the better of rivals late to win after running on well from fifth 0.4L at Echuca Bm58 over 1600m. Tried hard but it was always an uphill battle from settling position 11.7L at Warrnambool Bm64 over 2000m Soft 5.
3. Bakery Hill	Resumes after a 32 week spell and first race for Amy McDonald. Returns to shorter trip. Unlikely.
4. Plunger Charlie	Restrained back to midfield always under the pump to run on 9.8L at Gawler Mdn-Sw over 1716m Soft 5. Never headed once found the lead and shot clear for a dominant win 5.5L at Terang Mdn-Sw over 1600m. Second-up.
5. Real Thinker	Won last start at Stony Creek on a heavy track. Likely to race on the speed and carries an extra 2kg from last run. Not keen.
6. Express Raider	Had chance to gain victory but finished second after settling on the pace 0.5L at Benalla Bm58 over 1606m. Disappointed after finding a nice seat on the pace 8L at Burrumbeet Bbt Cup over 1800m. Nicely placed by trainer here.
7. Achaeus	Has won at Bairnsdale and placed twice this campaign. Drawn perfectly. Commands respect.
8. Lord Lennox	Finished five lengths back last start at Sandown but racing back from metro track. Should run fitter for two previous outings. Big chance.
9. Acropolis Hill	Won last start to break maiden at Stony Creek and should run fitter for past attempts. Rise in weight. Place chance.
10. Hurricaine	Back from long spell of 70 weeks and could need a few starts to get going. Down in distance. Not keen.
11. She Zed So	Ran five lengths back from the winner last start at Stony Creek. Looking elsewhere.
12. Cheners	Ran as favourite last start and placed at Merton but a winner at first outing this prep. Big drop in weight but still not here.
13. Royal Rue	Unplaced in all 10 runs this prep and faded to finish nine lengths off the winner last start at Geelong. Has not won at the track previously. Not here.
