Runner Comments

1. Capital Venture	Has placed in two runs from four this campaign and ran three lengths back from the winner last start at Scone. Drawn well. Well placed.
2. My Sonny's Faith	Only just missed in driving finish last start at Inverell and has two placings from three runs this prep. Drawn out wide but still should fight out the finish.
3. Photogenic	First-up after 22 week break and coming to a new trainer. Fitter for Scone trial. Cannot entertain.
4. Prince Duporth	A 12 start maiden and finished 18 lengths off the winner last start at Quirindi when resuming. Goes up slightly in weight. Not in this.
5. Rockdog	Finished eighth last start at Inverell and concern is the wide barrier. Has placed in two runs from seven this campaign. Not the worst.
6. Walbundrie	Short back-up of three days and gets the blinkers back on. Has placed in four runs from eight this campaign. One of the main hopes.
7. Winning Fortunes	Resumes from a long 50 week spell. Finished 11 lengths off the winner at only start at Geelong and carries an extra 2kg from last run. Outsider.
8. Mondaze	Returns from five week let-up. Finished seventh at only start at Mudgee. Not keen.
9. Avalene	Let-up and generally strong first-up placing at Scone last attempt. Down in distance. Expect to be right up there.
10. Flying Cosmos	Yet to break out of maiden grade after 34 attempts and has not won in five outings to Gunnedah before. Likely to race on the speed in a race with minimal pressure expected. Not here.
11. Vista Girl	Still a maiden after 12 starts but has the speed to overcome an unfavourable draw. Large claim helps. Not the worst.
12. Wanda Beach	Has had 12 runs without breaking maiden. Should be near the speed in a race without much early pace. Hard to get enthused.
13. Forever Calm	First start and trialling well. Drawn the rails. Watch betting.
14. Supernaculum	Finished fifth last start at Inverell. An untried jockey and trainer combination. Likely to settle back in the field. Prefer to watch go around.
