1. Emma's Jet	Won once this prep at Gold Coast three runs back and gets the blinkers on for the first time. All wins have come when faced with dry ground. Leading chance.

3. Jakama	Last start winner at Ipswich on a soft track. Likely to race on the speed and won two of five as a favourite. Genuine contender.
4. Desert Knight	Has got off to a poor start this campaign but should improve with fitness and faded to finish eighth last start at Doomben. All wins have come when faced with dry ground but appears tested.
5. Liability	Unplaced in all five runs this prep and without a win in three runs at Ipswich. Carrying more weight. Not the worst.

7. Rains Aplenty	Placed when unwanted in the betting last start at Ipswich when resuming and down in weight. Has not won at the track previously. Can surprise.
8. Silverbrook Lad	Ran six lengths back from the winner last start at Ipswich and blinkers come off. Won once this prep at the track three runs back. Not here.
