1. Gunaluva	In great form this prep winning twice and placing in all other attempts. Last start winner at Newcastle. Claim helps. Not the worst.
2. Shadow Flight	Finished in the middle of the pack last start at Warwick Farm and five from six wins have been in the dry. Rates highly.
3. Sepulchre	Won once this prep at Kembla four runs back and finished midfield last start at Warwick Farm. Drawn ideally but seems unlikely.
4. Explosive Jack	Got the campaign off to a strong start winning when fresh and ran fifth last start at Goulburn on a soft track. Not the worst.
5. Lama	Placed as a favourite last start at Nowra on a soft track but has had a flying start to their career. Right in this.
6. Saint Ay	3/4 len win of 11 (9) $3.30 56.0 Whiskey Jack, Fullyloadedfilly 2000m Bathurst 3yo+ Plate (C1) Good(4) Dec 21. 2-1/4 len win of 10 (7) $2.45F 55.5 The Fringe, Yak 2100m Orange 3yo+ (Bm58) Good(4) Dec 28.
7. Savvy Valentino	Unplaced in all five runs this prep and came on to finish midfield last start at Warwick Farm. All two wins have come in the dry. Outside hope.
8. Joe's Joy	Finished five lengths off the winner last start at Warwick Farm on a heavy track. Hard to go past.
9. Zarafah	Coming off a win at Wagga Wagga. Likely to race off the speed and down in weight. Among the main chances.
10. Persian Front	On a seven day back-up and won once this prep at Gosford four runs back. Without a win in five runs at Kembla. Appears tested.
11. Fortaleza	Ran five lengths back from the winner last start at Orange. Expect to get back early. Appears safely held.
