2. Castel Sant'angelo	Resumes after spell of 13 weeks and has placed once in two trials. Returns to shorter trip. Looks tested.
3. First Footman	Faded to finish eighth last start at Nowra when resuming but placed at Newcastle in only second-up attempt. Likely to race on the speed. Place chance.
4. Prince Aurelius	Winner of last two at Wagga Wagga and Moruya but up in weight. Not out of it.
5. Eugenio	Unsighted last start at Wyong when first up and up in distance. Carrying less weight but still appears tested.
6. Segrill	Won once this prep at Wyong three runs back and placed last start at Gosford. Won't be far away in the run. Solid claims.

10. Captain Manering	Short back-up of six days. Was able to place at long odds last start at Nowra but up 2.5kg from last run. Appears tested.
