1. Gannett	Unsighted last start at Ballarat on a soft track when first up and up 4.5kg from last run. Ran eighth at Ararat in only second-up attempt. Not in this.
2. Star Selection	Placed last start at Sale on a soft track and won once this prep at Mornington five runs back. Up in weight. Place hope.
3. Sangria Miss	Never in the race last start at Werribee on a heavy track and should run fitter for past attempts. Claim helps but appears tested.
4. It's Cochise	First-up after 29 week break and down in distance. Goes down in weight but still this looks too strong.
5. Blazing Lace	Resumes after spell of 16 weeks. Comes to hand quickly and placed at Ballarat when last first-up. Returns to shorter trip. Not in this.
6. Off Shores Pearl	Let-up for 12 weeks and fitter for Cranbourne trial. Draws to do no work. Probably wins
