1. Hiemal	Strong in winning last start at Pioneer Park when resuming. Won't be far away in the run and rates highly with Wayne Kerford retaining the ride. Leading hope.
2. Masterati	First race for Nicole Bruggemann. Has a lot of early speed and drops 2kg from last run. Among the main chances.
3. Radio Room	Resumes after spell of 23 weeks and has won four times at Pioneer Park before. Generally gets back. Not in this.
4. Testino	Amongst the placegetters first two attempts this prep and came on strong when just beaten last start at Darwin. Carrying less weight. Can figure.
5. Alvin Purple	Resumes after spell of 17 weeks and generally strong first-up winning at Pioneer Park last attempt. All wins have come when faced with dry ground. Must respect.
6. Brazilliant	Ran one and a half lengths back from the winner last start at Pioneer Park when fresh. Gets the winkers on for the first time. Proven second-up winning two from six when fresh and winning at the track last go but cannot entertain.
7. Silent Ice	Back from 14 week spell and winner of one when first-up including ran second at Pioneer Park last go. Up in weight. Not in this.
