4. Nitride	Back from 15 week spell and ran fourth at Wyong when last first-up. Just missed when heavily backed last start at Newcastle. Sneaky chance.
5. Xpresso	Strong in winning last start to break maiden at Gosford on a heavy track when first up and has had a flying start to their career. Draws to do no work and expect to lead. Leading chance.
6. Daichi	Just missed as favourite last start at Kembla Grange and should run fitter for past attempts. Can get the job done.
7. The Storm In Me	Returns from nine week let-up and placed in last trial at Muswellbrook. Comes to hand quickly. Not the worst.
8. Flying Tyrol	Got the campaign off to a strong start winning when fresh and rates well in these conditons. Concern is the wide barrier but still hard to go past.
9. Shotgun Alli	Finished three quarters of a length back from the leader last start at Newcastle and gets the blinkers on for the first time. Has won two of three on a softer track. Winning chance.
10. The Drake	Unplaced in all four runs this prep and finished midfield last start at Grafton. Without a win in nine runs at Newcastle. This looks too strong.
11. Hatsuko	Surprised punters to win at long odds last start to break maiden at Newcastle on a heavy track and should run fitter for past attempts. Has won at the track before. Not out of it.
12. Ciao Uno	Has won at Muswellbrook once and placed in all other attempts this campaign. 3kg claim should help. Bailey Wheeler not a regular jockey for this trainer. Not the worst.
