3. Rushford	Winner at Mornington and placed twice this prep. Has run well on a softer track. Carrying 4kg more than last time. Can surprise.
4. Rutherford	Finished six lengths back last start at Sandown but racing back from metro track. Won once this prep at Geelong three runs back. Well placed.
5. Unique Bambino	Finished five lengths off the winner last start at Wangaratta when resuming and draws to do no work. Won't be far away in the run. At least a place chance here.
6. Over There	Let-up and first start for a new trainer. Comes to hand quickly and placed at Northam when last first-up but still hard to have.
7. Pershing	Finished in the middle of the pack last start at Stony Creek and should run fitter for past attempts. Up 3.5kg from last run. Chance.
8. Gambeson	Finished sixth last start at Mornington and has not handled softer tracks well. Concern is the widest barrier. Prefer others.
9. Real Reason	Last start winner to break maiden at Mornington but is carrying a lot more weight. Should run fitter for two previous outings. Forward showing no surprise.
10. Count Of Carford	Finished midfield last start at Mornington and has three placings from 10 runs this prep. Hard to hold out.
11. Reward	Placed in first start this prep and faded to finish seven lengths off the winner last start at Werribee. Concern is the wide barrier. Looking elsewhere.
12. Ryan's Girl	Got the campaign off to a strong start winning when fresh and ran four lengths back from the winner last start at Sandown. Racing back from the city. Needs the breaks.
