1. Brutal Power	First-up after 24 week spell and very strong resuming winning once when fresh. Has a win from two trials. Place.
2. Riched	Beaten easily last start at Murray Bdge but drawn ideally. Racing back from metro track. Among the main chances.
3. Lofty Tycoon	Resumes after a 32 week spell and placed at last trial at this track. Outstanding form at Port Augusta. Hard to hold out.
4. Obelos	Short back-up of four days. Finished ninth last start at Gawler on a heavy track. Gets a nice run behind a genuine tempo. Unlikely.
5. Pipe Dreams	Struggled so far this preparation but has the speed to overcome a very wide draw. Teagan Voorham not a regular jockey for this trainer. Cannot entertain.
6. Captain Bridges	Placed last start at Port Augusta. Leading contender.
7. Case Closed	Finished nine lengths back last start at Port Augusta and blinkers come off for the first time. Wide barrier is a concern. Looking elsewhere.
8. Desert Knight	Has got off to a poor start this campaign but should improve with fitness and faded to finish 12 lengths off the winner last start at Balaklava. All wins have come when faced with dry ground. Not the worst.
9. Aleda	Let-up for six weeks and has the speed to overcome a very wide draw. Won't be far away in the run. Hard to have.
10. Bubbles Mcginty	Finished sixth last start at Port Augusta when first up and generally strong second-up winning at Gawler last second-up attempt. At least a place chance here.
11. Kissable Eight	Can't knock the form with two wins from nine attempts this campaign. Won't be far away in the run and claim should help. One for wider exotics.
12. All Things Nice	Finished in the middle of the pack last start at Port Augusta and without a win in 14 runs at the track. Placed once this prep at the track. Knockout hope.
