Runner Comments

1. Monegal	Won once this prep at Kembla three runs back and came on to finish midfield last start at Gosford on a heavy track. Likely to settle back in the field. Right in this.
2. Radipole	Let-up and trial win in the 42 days since last race adds confidence. Has not won in three outings to Rosehill before. Appears tested.
3. Canasta	First-up after 31 week break and trialling well. Generally strong first-up. Knockout hope.
4. Trajection	Can't knock the form with two wins from four attempts this campaign and has won four of six on a softer track. Has not won at Rosehill previously. Not in this.
5. Zoffany's Lad	Finished fifth last start at Randwick when fresh and draws to do no work. Ran second at Canterbury when last second-up. Place hope.
6. Ellsberg	Dominant front running ride, excellent win 4.3L at Rosehill Gardens. Wide no cover early, superb effort considering 1.8L at Royal Randwick. He has the speed to overcome the wide barrier and will be in it for a long way.
7. Orcein	Ran seven lengths back from the winner last start at Randwick on a heavy track. Expected to settle off the speed and carrying less weight. Serious player.
8. Oscar Zulu	Settled midfield, drove hard late to score top win 0.2L at Rosehill Gardens. Sensational run for third after positioning so far back in the running 3L Vo Rogue Group 3. Drove home hard last start and will be rattling home again.
9. Lamu	Having first start for a new trainer and carrying less weight. Should run fitter for two previous outings. Not in this.
10. Above And Beyond	On a seven day back-up and goes well on a softer track. Has placed in two runs from five this campaign. Chance.
11. Lady Mironton	Ran on ok late but gave leaders a big head start 3.3L at Wagga Riverside Open Bm81 over 1200m. Dug deep under hard riding to fight on bravely for fourth after sitting midfield 2.1L at Wagga Open Bm80 over 1200m.
