Runner Comments

1. Golden AvengerGutsy effort to hold off rivals to win when hitting the lead 0.9L at Scone Bm58 1000m. Had chance to gain victory but finished second after settling on the pace 0.8L at Mudgee 1200m. Loves the 1000m.
2. Lord TonyHas won at Tamworth and placed three times this campaign. Only just missed last start, finishing a neck back from the winner at Tamworth. Likely to race on the speed. Not out of it.
3. SennacheribResumes after a 24 week spell and needs a few starts to get warm. Returns to shorter trip. Look to others.
4. The LauncherScratched..
5. ChazellesFirst-up after 25 week spell and placed in both lead-up trials. Proven first-up winning two from three when fresh and won at Ballina last go. Can surprise.
6. Tale Of The KrautGave a great sight out in front but was run down for third 1.7L at Mudgee Cdra Champ over 1400m. Pressed on to the lead however was under enormous pressure to hold spot 5.2L at Hawkesbury Bm70 over 1300m Soft 6.
7. I'm On BreakLet-up and gets the blinkers on for the first time. Likely to race on the speed. Knockout hope.
8. NapoliResumes after a 30 week spell and having first run for a new trainer. In good shape from recent trial successes but not in this.
9. Bad Boy for LoveHas placed in three runs from eight this campaign and amongst the placegetters last start running second at Randwick. Likely to get a nice run behind the speed. Leading hope.
10. TallisFinished midfield last start at Gosford on a heavy track. Generally races near the speed and tends to go well in the wet. Hard to hold out.
11. Mont GenepAbove midfield, failed to kick with field 9.4L at Royal Randwick Highway-C3 over 1000m Heavy 8. Controlled the race from the front and won easily 2.3L at Bathurst Cl2-Sw over 1100m Soft 7.
12. LeoBack after 17 week break following gelding. Expected to settle just off the speed. Outsider.
13. Foxie La BelleBack from let-up and will come to hand quickly. Down in distance. Should fight out the finish.
14. EncontiGot the campaign off to a strong start winning when fresh and seems at home on a heavy track. Takes a 3kg claim. Not the worst.
15. Fair DinkumPlaced as a favourite last start at Taree but trial win in the 29 days since last race adds confidence. Wide barrier is a concern. Can surprise.
16. Skara BraeCan't knock the form winning two in a row at Scone and Wellington but awkwardly drawn. Not in this.
17. No What To KeepLast start winner at long odds at Goulburn on a soft track but could struggle from a wide barrier draw. Returns to shorter trip. Appears safely held.
18. Feel the KnightResumes from a 27 week spell and coming to a new trainer. Comes to hand quickly. Expected to be a contender.
19. Flora BelFinished strongly to end up midfield last start at Canberra when first up and widest barrier is a concern. Won at Wagga Wagga in only second-up attempt but still not in this.
20. Nobody's PuppetLed all the way to win last start at Goulburn but could struggle from a wide barrier draw. Kathy O'Hara has had success aboard previously. Should go well.
21. MuzzleburstTracked into the race well from a forward position but was no match sixth 2.6L at Queanbeyan Bm58 over 1000m Soft 5. Very comfortable win 2.1L at Forbes Pic Trophy over 1100m.
