Runner Comments

1. Nature StripSix time Group I winner which returned to racing with an exhilarating all the way win in the Concorde, the best sprinter in the land when on song and the first up win suggests he is right at the peak of his form.
2. EduardoFinished runner up in this race last year and won the Galaxy during the Autumn. Resumes and should be fit enough after three trials and is expected to be in the finish.
3. GytrashResumes on the back of a Randwick trial win. Hasn't missed a place in seven first up runs including four wins and won the Concorde at Randwick first up last campaign. A must for the exotics.
4. Masked CrusaderShowed he is for a big Spring with a last to first win in the Heath at Caulfield resuming last start. Won the Group I William Reid at Moonee Valley earlier in the year and is now a genuine Group I horse.
5. RothfireHas an impressive record winning seven of his nine starts and won the Group I JJ Atkins as a two-year-old. Hasn't raced in almost a year but looked ready to go winning successive trials at Doomben. Will be in this for a long way.
6. Wild Ruler
7. Lost And RunningHas only tasted defeat once in his seven start career and won the Listed Luskin Star Stakes before spelling. Faces his toughest test taking on a genuine Group I field of sprinters but looks capable of going to that sort of level.
8. Handle the TruthCanberra trained sprinter on route to the Kosciuszko and doubt he will trouble this field.
9. AdelongHas an impressive record with eight wins from 18 starts but aiming a touch high taking on the best sprinters in the land.
