5. Kite Flight	First-up after 34 week spell and has the benefit of a Beaumont trial. Needs a few starts to get warm. This looks too strong.
6. Rupertson	Amongst the placegetters first two attempts this prep and amongst the placegetters last start running second at Scone. A winning chance.
7. Hardyo	Finished eight lengths back last start at Tamworth when first up and no wins in six past runs at Scone. Awkwardly drawn. Prefer others.
8. Our Boy Malcolm	Just missed as favourite last start at Tamworth on a soft track and won once this prep at Port Macquarie two runs back. Drawn perfectly. Hard to go past.

12. Zidane	Back from 23 week spell and trialled at Warwick Farm. Awkwardly drawn. Prefer others.
13. Whispering Cate	Unwanted by the market but right up there last start at Scone and won once this prep at Muswellbrook two runs back. No wins in three past runs at the track. Not in this.
14. Dolly Jayne	Won once this prep at Gunnedah four runs back and has the speed to overcome a very wide draw. Has won one of three with the sting out of the ground. Place.
15. Superel	Finished midfield last start at Port Macquarie on a soft track and conditions a real condern. Has not won at Scone previously. Not here.
16. Kennywyn	Can't knock the form with two wins from eight attempts this campaign and has the speed to overcome drawing the widest barrier. Won't be far away in the run. Place hope.
