Runner Comments

1. Valaroc	Won once this prep at Oakbank two runs back and gets the winkers on for the first time. Has won one of three with the sting out of the ground. Right in this.
2. Saint Kitts	Faded to finish eighth last start at Mount Gambier and won once this prep at Bordertown three runs back. Drawn ideally. Can get the job done.
3. Silent Don	Resumes from a long 46 week spell and won at Balaklava in first outing. Has trialled at Strathalbyn. Look to others.
4. One More Grandy	Won at only start at Oakbank and rates highly with Justin Potter retaining the ride. At least a place chance here.
5. Ashady Past	Has got off to a poor start this campaign but should improve with fitness and unsighted last start at Morphettville. Up in distance. Forward showing no surprise.
6. Proud Mary	Began awkwardly. Laid out concluding stages 3/4 len win of 8 (2) $4.00 54.0 Von George, Angry Ant 1250m Port Lincoln 2yo Mdn Good(4) April 13. 6-3/4 len last of 11 (9) $101.00 57.0 Hateech 1100m Gawler F&M (Bm58) Soft(6) May 11.
7. Utah Joe	Ran one and a half lengths back from the winner last start at Strathalbyn on a soft track. Won once this prep at Port Lincoln six runs back. Has not won at the track previously. Hard to get enthused.
8. Free Of Sin	Faded to finish 10th last start at Morphettville when resuming and ran fourth at Murray Bdge when last second-up. Should be right in the finish.
9. Goodarchie	Resumes from a long 67 week spell and coming to a new trainer. Fitter for Murray Bdge trial. Looking to others.
10. Lord Rosenthal	Resumes after a 30 week spell and down in distance. Likely to settle back in the field. Prefer to watch go around.
