2. Two Smokin Barrels	Back from 19 week spell and has placed once in three trials. Returns to shorter trip. Rough claims.
3. Chevy Nova	Was able to place at long odds last start at Beaudesert on a soft track and goes up in distance for the first time. Can threaten.
4. Angels Share	Last start winner at long odds at Sunshine Coast on a soft track when fresh and in strong form with three wins from 12 attempts this campaign. Rates highly with Kenji Yoshida aboard. Chance.
5. Nishikori	Won last start at Beaudesert on a soft track and draws to do no work. Returns to shorter trip. Must respect.
6. Fast Thinker	Faded to finish nine lengths off the winner last start at Gold Coast when first up but relishes the heavy. Generally strong second-up but still hard to get enthused.
7. Princess Sparkles
8. San Pierre	Finished worse than midfield last start at Gold Coast on a heavy track and gets the blinkers back on. Would prefer drier. Not in this.
9. Helsun	Finished in the middle of the pack last start at Sunshine Coast on a soft track and no wins in seven past runs at Gold Coast. Likely to settle back in the field. Not in this.
