2. Dream Lad	Yet to break out of maiden grade after 25 attempts and down in distance. Without a win in four runs at Tamworth. Not keen.
3. Mista Sock	On debut and fitter for Scone trial. Watch the market.
4. Montari	First-up after 31 week spell and placed when trialling at Scone. Aaron Bullock has a strike rate of 39% for this trainer. Leading chance.
5. Scarzel	Amongst the placegetters last start running third at Wellington when first up and has the speed to overcome a very wide draw. Expected to be right on the speed. Go well.
6. The Big Seal	Amongst the placegetters first two attempts this prep. Has a lot of early speed. Serious player.
7. The Gossiper	Back from let-up and still a maiden after 16 starts. Has trialled at Tamworth. Genuine contender.
8. Thunder Fox	Resumes from a long 46 week spell and first race for Ian Cook. Large claim helps but still outsider.
