1. Sahar	Ran down the leaders and got the victory right on the line 0.2L at Echuca Bm64 over 1618m. Slow out, never in it.Vet-Heart ireg 19.9L at Caulfield Bm80 over 1700m Soft 6. Down in grade here so don't dismiss.
2. Glassey Miss	Won last start at Warrnambool when first up and takes a 3kg claim. Goes down in weight. Not out of it.
3. Revlis	Finished seventh last start at Flemington and claim should help. five from six wins have been in the dry. One for wider exotics.
4. Bianconi Magic	Finished in the middle of the pack last start at Caulfield and large claim helps. Likely to settle back in the field. Chance.
5. Cassius	Kept chasing and just missed last start at Werribee. Drops in weight. Claim should help. Expect to be right up there.
6. Subrunner	Ran four lengths back from the winner last start at Mornington when fresh and ran first at Yarra Valley when last second-up. Claim helps but still appears tested.
7. Brazen Song	Won once this prep at Werribee three runs back and has the speed to overcome a very wide draw. Won't be far away in the run. Hard to hold out.
8. Gutsy	Looking for a hatrick after winning two in a row at Mornington and Kyneton but rises to metro class. Unlikely.
9. Be Amazing	Sat on the pace over the final 400m and gained upper hand to win 0.8L at Mornington F&M Bm58 over 1500m. Found enough when it mattered to fight off a late challenge to win 0.1L at Mornington Bm58 over 1500m.
10. Soaring Eagle	Faded to finish three lengths off the winner last start at Sandown but two from three wins have been in the dry. Should run fitter for two previous outings. Must respect.
11. Tragic	Finished worse than midfield last start at Caulfield but has three placings from six runs this prep. Placed in two of three at Moonee Valley before. Right in this.
12. Bekstar	Has two wins from six attempts this campaign but first race at metro class. Has the speed to overcome drawing the widest barrier but outsider.
13. Inkslinger	Has placed in two runs from three this campaign and ran on strong to finish on the winner's heels last start at Yarra Valley. Big drop in weight. Can surprise.
14. Angaston	Had plenty of ground to make up and did pass some tired horses for fifth 3.4L at Morphettville Bm58 over 1200m. Got to the lead but was run down late for second 0.1L at Murray Bridge GH Bm64 over 1400m.
15. Everywhere Mann	Has placed in two runs from four this campaign and in the money last start running third at Wangaratta. Concern is the wide barrier. Prefer others.
16. Franquin	Led the field however was reeled in late for third 4L at Penshurst Bm52 over 1476m. Sat behind the speed and narrowly failed to make up the ground holding second 0.2L at Burrumbeet Bm52 over 1350m.
