1. Southern Rock	Finished fifth last start at Caulfield. Has shown early speed in races to date and takes a 3kg claim. Sneaky chance.
2. Budd Fox	Unplaced in all five runs this prep and finished 10th last start at Caulfield. four of five wins have come from dry ground but still look to others.
3. Alienated	Short back-up of seven days and 3kg claim should help. Won once this prep at Sale seven runs back. Prefer to watch go around.
4. Steam Roller	Has two wins from six attempts this campaign and a long way down in class. Rates highly with Dean Yendall aboard. A good chance.
5. Power of Attorney	Won last start at Randwick. Expected to settle off the speed. Right in this.
6. Anikery	Looking to make it four in a row after another win at Werribee last start and claim should help. Rough claims.
7. Field Of Lights	Short back-up of seven days and won once this prep at Geelong five runs back. Won't be far away in the run. Among the main chances.
8. Saving	Amongst the placegetters last start running third at Stony Creek and running 8kg lighter than last start. Knockout hope.
9. Kazoom	Finished midfield last start at Werribee and running 4kg lighter than last start. Won once this prep at Geelong four runs back. Well placed.
10. Dente	Came on strong in the end to win last start at Geelong but first race at metro class. Can't knock the form with two wins from nine attempts this campaign but still looking elsewhere.
11. Beachgoer	Short back-up of six days and has two placings from three runs this prep. Down in weight. Place.
12. Sassoon	Finished midfield last start at Mornington and goes down in weight. Has not won at Moonee Valley previously. Appears safely held.
13. Capecain	Given every chance after sitting behind speed and held spot for fourth 5.1L at Bendigo Mdn-Sw over 2400m. Ran away with a nice soft win 1.8L at Kyneton Bm58 over 2800m.
14. It's Choux Time	Midfield, one-paced from the 400m when content with fifth 12L at Nhill Bm58 over 2100m. Held on to third in what was an encouraging run 1.9L at Kyneton Bm58 over 2800m. [Last win: 24Nov2019 Came from midfield with a well timed run to win 0.4L at Swan Hill Bm58 over 2100m].
