1. Ostermeier	Got the campaign off to a strong start winning when fresh and gets the blinkers on for the first time. Ron Goltz has had success aboard previously. Not out of it.
2. Kasita	Faded to finish 10 lengths off the winner last start at Toowoomba and gets the blinkers back on. Likely to race on the speed in a race with minimal pressure expected. Commands respect.
3. Absolute Glory	Finished worse than midfield last start at Toowoomba when fresh but Kyle Wilson-Taylor has had success aboard previously. Ran sixth at Doomben when last second-up. Serious player.
4. Jabalic
5. Dragon Pursuit	Faded to finish 16 lengths off the winner last start at Gold Coast on a heavy track. Must be considered.
6. Frascati Miss	First-up after 34 week spell and gets the blinkers on for the first time. Fitter for Toowoomba trial. Unlikely.
7. Suzy Needs Lovin'
8. Wearetenfortyeight	Finished midfield last start at Toowoomba and won once this prep at the track three runs back. Should be near the speed in a race without much early pace. Will take a power of beating.
9. Tycoon Player	Unsighted last start at Doomben when fresh and soft track a real concern. Without a win in three runs at Toowoomba. Not in this.
