1. Gracious Garcon	First start for a new trainer and would be a lot happier with a drier track. Without a win in three runs at Townsville. Not the worst.
2. Hemsted	Finished fourth last start at Townsville and won once this prep at Bathurst nine runs back. Leading contender.
3. Indian Dancer	Ran sixth last start at Townsville on a heavy track and won once this prep at the track two runs back. Rates highly with Jeffrey Felix aboard. Go well.
4. At Dusk	Ran six lengths back from the winner last start at Atherton when first up but large claim helps. Ran 11th at Rockhampton when last second-up. Seems unlikely.
5. Northern Great	Can't knock the form winning two in a row at Mareeba and Atherton but concern is the wide barrier. One for wider exotics.
6. Zulu Tuk	Has got off to a poor start this campaign but should improve with fitness and gets the winkers back on. Won't be far away in the run. Capable of getting into the money.
7. Poetic Attacks	Faded to finish fifth last start at Atherton but rates highly with Chris Whiteley aboard. Likely to race off the speed. A good chance.
8. Cheese Burger	Resumes after spell of 24 weeks and might need the run. Without a win in four runs at Townsville. Unlikely.
9. Good Catch	Ran five lengths back from the winner last start at Rockhampton on a soft track when fresh and ran fifth at Townsville when last second-up. Up in journey. Hard to get enthused.
10. Spiritual Rose	Faded to finish eight lengths off the winner last start at Townsville and widest barrier is a concern. Up 2kg from last run. Looks tested.
11. Graceful Zarifa	Unplaced in all five runs this prep and faded to finish 21 lengths off the winner last start at Townsville on a heavy track. No wins in four past runs at the track. Looking to others.
12. Bon Ruby	Finished seven lengths off the winner last start at Mackay and wide barrier is a concern. Without a win in three runs at Townsville. Outsider.
