DWTS: PUNTERS BACK THE GREEN MACHINE

Sportingbet Australia is betting on the new season of Dancing With The Stars and early betting indicates boxer Danny Green can transform himself from a Green Machine to a Dancing Machine.

CEO of Sportingbet Australia, Michael Sullivan, said that Green had been backed in from $12.00 to $8.00 already.

“There’s no doubt that punters think that Green can KO his dancing opposition,” said Sullivan.

“He’s been the best backed contender so far.”

“Reality TV punters who remember the skill and determination that carried Kostya Tszyu into the Dancing Grand Final and the nice odds that were available on for him in the opening market ($11.00) have been quick to snap up the $12.00 before he sets foot on the dancefloor,” Sullivan said.

Other celebrities who had been backed early on were Home and Away’s Jodi Gordon and funny girl Cal Wilson.

“Jodi has been backed in from $10.00 to $6.00 already, with punters betting on the voting power of Home and Away fans and there’s been a few bets on Cal at the juicy price of $16.00,” Sullivan said.

“Charli is starting as a short priced favourite as she has the advantage of her dance and choreography experience as a member of Hi-5 “ he said.

Television’s most popular reality TV show – Dancing With The Stars – returns to Channel Seven on Sunday August 31.
