PROMOTION
• 1. The Way2Bet Pick the Trifecta promotion (‘Promotion’) commences at 3:00pm on Thursday 18th September and ends at 23:59 on Monday 10th November 2008 (‘Promotional Period’).
• 2. The Promotion comprises of:
• 1. Picking the trifectas for the nominated Victorian Group 1 races (‘Pick the Trifecta’)
  2. The Member being awarded point/s (‘Point/s’) for either picking the Trifecta in the nominated race/s in the correct order or picking the Trifecta in the any order.
• ELIGIBILITY
• 3. Participation in the Promotion is limited to persons who are:
  1. 18 years and over at the time of the Promotion commencing and;
  2. registered with Way2Bet.com.au (“Site”);
  3. (“Eligible Entrants”)
• ENTERING THE PROMOTION
• 4. Eligible Entrants must go online to the Site and follow the links to Pick the Trifecta promotion page between:
  1. 3:00pm on the Thursday prior to the Race and 11:00am on the Saturday of the nominated race if the Race is on a Saturday;
  2. 3:00pm on the Monday prior to the Race and 11:00am Wednesday should the nominated race be on a Wednesday;
  3. 3:00pm Sunday prior to the Race and 11:00am Tuesday should the nominated race be on a Tuesday;
  4. and make a selection of three (3) runners for the nominated race/s.
• 5. The nominated races (‘Race/s’) included in the Promotion are:
• 1. Underwood Stakes Saturday at Caulfield (VIC) 20th September 2008;
  2. Patinack Turnbull Stakes at Flemington (VIC) Saturday 4th October 2008;
  3. Caulfield Guineas at Caulfield (VIC) Saturday 11th October 2008;
  4. Thousand Guineas at Caulfield (VIC) Wednesday 15th October 2008;
  5. BMW Caulfield Cup at Caulfield (VIC) Saturday 18th October 2008;
  6. Tatts Cox Plate at Moonee Valley (VIC) Saturday 25th October 2008;
  7. Victoria Derby at Flemington (VIC) Saturday 1st November 2008;
  8. Melbourne Cup at Flemington (VIC) Tuesday 4th November;
  9. Crown Oaks at Flemington (VIC) Thursday 6th November and;
  10. Emirates Stakes at Flemington (VIC) Saturday 8th November 2008.
• 6. The day prior to the Race/s the Promotion will be available to Eligible Entrants to make their selection of the three (3) runners they think will place in the Race.
• 7. The entry page (‘Entry Page’) is available at www.way2bet.com.au and the Member must be logged in to enter their chosen runners.
• 8. The list of runners for the Nominated Race will be available on the Entry Page, and the Eligible Entrant must enter the three (3) chosen horse numbers.
• 9. Once the Eligible Entrant has Submitted their Entry, the Eligible Entrant will receive a confirmation email from Way2Bet.
• 10. The Eligible Entrant must enter their best contact number (‘Contact Number’) before they submit (‘Submit’) their Entry. This is purely for administration purposes only to be able to contact the winner (‘Winner’) as quickly as possible.
• 11. Should the Eligible Entrant select the three (3) placegetters in the Race, in any order, the Eligible Entrant will receive one (1) point (‘Point/s’).
• 12. Should the Eligible Entrant select the three (3) placegetters in the Race in the correct order, the Eligible Entrant will receive five (5) Points.
1. One race will be nominated as the bonus race (Bonus Race). Points will double for the Bonus Race. For a trifecta in the correct order, 10 Points will be awarded, and for a trifecta not in the correct order, 2 Points will be awarded.
• 13. The Eligible Entrants can only Submit one Entry for each Race throughout the Promotional Period.
• 14. Maximum number of Entries per Eligible Entrant per Race is one (1), and therefore maximum number of Entries throughout the Promotional Period is nine (9).
• 15. The business day after the Race/s , Points will be determined by Way2Bet (‘Promoter’) viewing the results at www.tab.com.au . Each Entrant will be awarded the applicable number of Points.
• 16. Points will be accrued for each of the Nominated races. For example, should a Member select the Trifecta in the incorrect order in one of the Races, one Point will be allocated to the Member, if the Member then selects the Trifecta in the correct order in another Race, the Member will have accrued six (6) points.
• 17. The Member who accrues the highest number of Points throughout the Promotional Period will win the major prize (‘Major Prize’)
  1. The Major Prize is a Sports or Racing Holiday from Sportsnet Holidays www.sportsnet.com valued at $5,000 including GST valid until 30 November 2009.
• 18. Should one or more of the Members selected runners be scratched, they will be substituted with the lowest number horse in the Race. For example, should a Member choose Horses 2,5 and 6, and 6 is scratched, the substitute will horse number 1.
• 19. Should more than one Member equal the highest number of Points, the Major Prize shall will be split equally between the Members.
• 20. Total prize pool is valued at AUD$5,000.00
• 21. The Winner will be contacted via email and/or telephone within 48 hours of determining the Winner . All reasonable effort will be made to contact the Winner.
• 22. The Winners initial and surname and state of residence will be published on the Site immediately after determining the winner.
• 23. Once the Winner has been contacted, it will be necessary for them to provide the promoter (‘Promoter’) with a copy of one of the following government issued cards:
  1. A current drivers licence or;
  2. Proof of Age card or;
  3. Birth Card
  4. (‘Identification’)
• 24. The name on the Identification must match that of the Member.
• 25. Should the Winner not be contactable within 30 days after the Promotion, the Promoter will declare the Member who earned the second highest number of Points the Winner.
• GENERAL
• 26. The total prize pool is AU$5,000.00
• 27. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or change the prizes offered under the Promotion if there are any changes to the law that would or might render the Promotion or any prizes offered under the Promotion unlawful.
• The Promoter may substitute any prize under the Promotion with a prize of identical or substantially identical value, provided the Winner consents to any such substitution.
• 28. The Major Prize is not transferrable or redeemable for cash.
• 29. Except as expressly provided in this document, no prize, Entry or other feature of the Promotion can be transferred or redeemed for cash or other goods or services.
• 30. The Promoters decisions in relation to the conduct of the Promotion are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• 31. To the extent that circumstances arise for which these terms and conditions make no provision or in relation to which relevant terms and conditions is unclear, the Promoter reserves the right to make a decision regarding those circumstances in its sole discretion and such decision will be final and binding.
• 32. Directors, management and employees of any of the TwoWay group of companies and their immediate families are not eligible to enter the Promotion.
• 33. Participation in the Promotion by an Eligible Entrant confirms acceptance of the terms and conditions of the Site and the Promotion.
• 34. These terms and conditions are available on the Site throughout the Promotional Period.
