1. Shadow Chaser	Won once this prep at Gulgong two runs back and faded to finish 14th last start at Rosehill Gardens. Racing back from the city. Must respect.
2. Sharpay Ruler	Resumes after spell of 15 weeks and first start for a new trainer. Winner of two when first-up including a win at Dubbo last go. Leading contender.
3. Makuba	Has placed in two runs from four this campaign and amongst the placegetters last start running third at Wellington on a soft track. Likely to race on the speed. Winning chance.
4. Billy Bent Ear	Amongst the placegetters last start running second at Scone and takes a 3kg claim. Should race on the speed. Among the main chances.
5. Eightsides	Has won at Gulgong and placed once this campaign. Amongst the placegetters last start running second at Coonabarabran on a soft track. No wins in four past runs at Dubbo. Not the worst.
6. Planet Ex	Finished eight lengths back last start at Wellington on a soft track when resuming but generally strong second-up. Without a win in eight runs at Dubbo. Hard to have.

8. Boom Queen	Unplaced in all eight runs this prep and has not won at Dubbo previously. 2kg claim should help but still prefer others.
9. Fox Spirit	Finished sixth last start at Moree and has not won in four outings to Dubbo before. Won't be far away in the run. Place hope.
10. Serene Shadow	Won once this prep at Wellington six runs back and has not won in three outings to Dubbo before. Appears tested.
11. Zamali	Has got off to a poor start this campaign but should improve with fitness and ran four lengths back from the winner last start at Coonabarabran on a soft track. Looking to others.
