Runner Comments

1. MakramBack after 14 week break and has won one of three on a softer track. Likely to settle back in the field. Should fight out the finish.
2. Desert IconBack from 17 week spell and has a place in two trials but doesn't fire fresh. Hard to have.
3. Winning PartnerRan five lengths back from the winner last start at Flemington. Must respect.
4. Nicolini VitoComing off a win at Flemington when first up and has won twice at the track before. Likes the cut in the ground. Strong claims.
5. Bam's On FireFinished in the middle of the pack last start at Caulfield and goes well on a softer track. Placed three times at Flemington but been unable to get a win. Not the worst.
6. William ThomasUnplaced in all seven runs this prep and finished five lengths off the winner last start at Caulfield. Without a win in nine runs at Flemington. This looks too strong.
7. ShandyResumes from a long 70 week spell and first run for a new trainer. Fitter for Cranbourne-Trn trial. Not here.
8. ZoltanUnwanted by the market but right up there last start at Caulfield on a soft track and should run fitter for past attempts. Should go well.
9. Mr ExclusiveFinished fifth last start at Caulfield and without a win in 10 runs at Flemington. Large claim helps. Not the worst.
10. Reckoning2 len 5th of 14 (14) $16.00 55.5 He's Our Bonneval 1400m Caulfield (Bm84) Soft(6) June 25. 1-1/2 len 2nd of 9 (8) $8.00 58.5 Nerone 1400m Sandown-Hillside (Bm78) Heavy(10) July 13.
11. Turn On The CharmFaded to finish five lengths off the winner last start at Sandown Hillside on a heavy track and should run fitter for past attempts. Should be near the speed in a race without much early pace. Prefer others.
