1. Captain Fox	Won last start at Mackay and a track specialist winning four times at the track. three of four wins have come from dry ground. Hard to go past.
2. Man O' Ross	Faded to finish six lengths off the winner last start at Mackay when resuming. Should race on the speed and claim helps but hard to have.
3. Yuan Fen	Resumes after spell of 17 weeks and goes well at Mackay. two from three wins have been in the dry. Should fight out the finish.
4. Santorini Summer	Has placed in three runs from 11 this campaign and placed twice at Mackay but been unable to get a win. Draws to do no work. Knockout hope.
5. Making Contact	Finished at the rear last start at Mackay when first up and ran fifth at Geelong when last second-up. Won't be far away in the run. Cannot entertain.
