4. Le Vizir	Came on to finish midfield last start at Kembla Grange on a heavy track and proven perfromer on a soft track. Likely to race on the speed. Leading hope.
5. Prefect Match	Won last start at Wyong on a soft track when resuming and goes well on a softer track. Likely to race on the speed. Sneaky chance.
6. Jacquine Reward	Finished midfield last start at Kensington on a heavy track and has the speed to overcome drawing the widest barrier. Without a win in three runs at Newcastle. Cannot entertain.
7. The Denzel	Back from let-up and has the speed to overcome a very wide draw. Trial placing since last race 58 days ago adds confidence. Commands serious thought.
