2. George's Man	A 14 start maiden but 3kg claim should help. Up in journey. Prefer to watch go around.
3. Ginger Mick	Struggled so far this preparation and is up in journey. Won't be far away in the run. Not in this.
4. Keen Idea	On a seven day back-up. Came on to finish midfield last start at Tamworth and up in trip. Major contender.
5. Mahomes	Still a maiden after 19 starts and would prefer it drier. 3kg claim should help. Sneaky chance.
6. Rasay Factor	Never in the race last start at Tamworth when resuming and ran fifth at Moree in only second-up attempt. Likely to settle back in the field. Not here.
7. Searchlight	A 13 start maiden and finished seven lengths off the winner last start at Scone. Place.
8. Cristalino	Placed last start at Scone and returns to shorter trip. Has placed in five runs from five this campaign. A good chance.
9. Desert Rose	Only able to place as favourite last start at Coonabarabran on a soft track but has five placings from eight runs this prep. Takes a 3kg claim. Go well.
