3. Hafey	Resumes after spell of 23 weeks and winner when on debut at Bendigo. Must be considered.

5. Grand Impact	Led throughout for a dominant win at only start at Geelong. Should be winning.
6. Shambo	Let-up for nine weeks. Won last start to break maiden at Echuca on a heavy track. Should be thereabouts.
7. Atmosphere	Strong in winning last start to break maiden at Geelong and rates highly with Damien Oliver retaining the ride. Sneaky chance.
8. Nothing Silly	Finished midfield last start at Geelong and just the one placing this campaign at Flemington. Not in this.
